Light is a Belgian light manufacturer with 4 designs in production. The design of Frame 1 is based on a series of drawings of the North Sea. The design was inspired by the ever changing grey light and the intangible horizontal elements of air, sea and beach. Frame 1 is a horizontal light object. The user can adjust the sidelong light himself by turning the fitting off and casting the light indirectly: closed, a thin line of light is created in a closed beam; half-open, plenty of light is produced and an open frame in space is created; and completely open, the light object becomes an open/closed sculptural element on the wall.
Frame 2 is a vertical variant and Frame 3 is the hanging version.
Frame 2 won the Henry Van De Velde public award in 2004.
The Wave is a minimal desk lamp. The light fitting is a U-section pivoting on a massive aluminium plate.
