Hans De Pelsmacker

The balustrade for this listed house spans the entire front at the first floor of this corner house in Zeebrugge Dorp. The design consists of a series of horizontal plates of three different widths. The position of the plates is based on the beating of the sea waves. As the façade is facing north, a variety of grey hues and shadows is created.
